Baseline Terms of Service

1. The marketing site and reference application
These Terms apply to your use of the Baseline marketing website and reference application.
The website explains a product-delivery approach. The reference application is a working demonstration of a SaaS foundation: signup, verification, onboarding, account and user management, and billing flows are real application behaviours. The product names, branding, commercial proposition and prices shown in the demonstration are illustrative.
Use of the reference application does not create a client, supplier, employment, partnership or other commercial relationship. Any product-delivery engagement is subject to a separate written agreement.
2. Reference-app accounts
You may create a reference account only with accurate information that you are authorised to use. Keep your credentials secure and do not share account access with others.
You are responsible for activity under your reference account and for any users you create. Do not enter sensitive personal, financial, health, government, confidential or commercially sensitive information. The reference application may be changed, reset, suspended or removed at any time.
3. Stripe Sandbox demonstration
The reference application uses Stripe Sandbox to demonstrate subscription billing. No real payment is taken. Use only the published Stripe test-card details and do not enter a real payment-card number, bank information or other sensitive payment information.
The displayed plans, prices, trials and billing periods are examples only. They are not offers to supply a subscription service and do not create payment, renewal, refund or cancellation rights.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the site or reference application unlawfully or in a way that infringes another person's rights;
- attempt to access another account, data, system or administrative function without permission;
- probe, scan, overload, disrupt or interfere with the site or its providers;
- upload malware, harmful code or content that is unlawful, abusive or deceptive;
- use automated means to scrape, copy or extract the service except where permitted by law; or
- misrepresent the reference application as a production service or use it to process real customer data.
5. Intellectual property
The website, reference application, Baseline name, content, design and underlying materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable right to use the public website and reference application for evaluation. They do not transfer ownership or grant a right to copy, resell, reverse engineer or create a competing product from them, except to the extent a restriction is not permitted by law.
6. Availability and changes
The site and reference application are provided for information and evaluation. Features, data, plans, availability and content may change without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or secure operation, and may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or providers.
7. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the marketing site and reference application are provided “as is” and “as available”. They are not professional, financial, legal, security or technical advice, and you should not rely on them for a production, purchasing or implementation decision without your own assessment.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the marketing site or reference application, including loss caused by demonstration-data deletion, service changes, provider outages or unauthorised access. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the remedies available under applicable law.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. By creating a reference account, you acknowledge that the onboarding flow records acceptance of the current Terms and Privacy Policy version.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate reference-account access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, the account creates a security or operational risk, or the demonstration is being changed or retired.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the marketing site or reference application changes. The version and effective date above identify the current Terms. Continued use after an update is subject to the updated Terms, and the reference application may require acceptance of a new version before onboarding continues.
